Yes, I have to admit I love buttery, croissants-they are my favorite! Often on weekends I make these for lunch, they are a favorite with everyone. The local bakery makes these (over-sized) croissants each day and they are just wonderful. I normally use Tavern Ham or Virginia Baked Ham for this sandwich. Any cheese you like will work. Assemble them (use any condiment) line on a baking sheet pan and lightly toast.
They are so simple and yet so tasty. I always serve with fresh fruit.
