As a large family we always enjoy a vegetable side dish with our meals. This is a new favorite one we just love, it is so flavorful and easy to prepare. Using fresh or frozen whole green beans ( 16 ounces), blanch for 3 minutes in salted water, drain, set aside. In a saute pan add a few drizzlings of olive oil, 1/2 lemon (juice only) dash of garlic powder, add bacon pieces (until cooked) add 1/2 slice onion and saute together several minutes until bacon and onions are cooked, lower heat on stove top add green beans and saute a few minutes, gently stirring.
Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
