Honey & Clove Baked Pork Chops

This is a wonderful flavored meal, the oven does all the work and is just my newest favorite recipe to share. 4 bone in Pork Chops, marinate in a bowl with 1/4 cup honey, garlic and onion powder, a bit of black pepper and set into the refrigerator 30 minutes (makes sure to coat Pork Chops well). Remove after 30 minutes into a non stick baking dish, add several whole cloves to each coated Pork Chop, add 1/2 cup low sodium vegetable stock and bake @ 375 F-45 minutes covered with aluminum foil.

We love Jasmine rice served with these but whatever sides you enjoy make them if rice is not a favorite in your household.

Enjoy!

  1. I’ve only ever used cloves with ham (and vietnamese Pho broth) but if you think about it pork chops come from the same animal. Sounds great!
